Oh so pretty...
I walked into the kitchen and looked at the screen for a half second. I wouldn't even say that I recognized the movie before I started singing.. "I like to be in America.. Ok with me in America!"
I was frying bacon a few minutes later when I heard "I like to be in America.. Ok with me in America!" Apparently, even though it's been fifteen years since I was in high school, I still recognize the movie our chorus teacher made us watch all four semesters I took Chorus.
I don't even LIKE that movie.

I immediately thought West Side Story with your title. We did that as a production number in skating . . . and some of us were in the I Feel Pretty part 
. Those practices drove me nuts as there was so much repetition . . . and you know when you see/hear a musical just too many times it haunts you later on in life .2 people like this

I don't say I could blame you. It always seems to happen like that. I can't remember the name of the movie off the top of my head, but in high school our class watched this same movie over and over again, too.@ScribbledAdNauseum

If I had seen it later in life I might have liked it, but the teacher made us watch it so many times because her husband was the theater teacher and was putting on the production.

Yes, West Side Story. We had to watch the movie for it in high school because our chorus teacher was married to the theater teacher who was putting on the production.

It's one of those that you'd remember if you saw it. It's a bit annoying to be honest, but maybe I feel that way because the teacher made us watch it so many times.

@Tina30219 Yeah our teacher was married to the theater teacher and he was putting on a production of West Side Story so we had to watch it. I think we were auditioned for singing parts too
