In the years that I have heard of stories that involve our brave men and women who serve in law enforcement, a few of them can have such a great experience like what happened to Indiana State Trooper Thomas Maymi. Officer Maymi was on the clock on a toll road in LaPorte County in Indiana when a semitrailer driven by Carl Robertson who pulled over on the side of the road when his I presume girlfriend Shaniqua Traywick were running out of time to get to a local hospital so that Shaniqua would have her child. Carl managed to get the attention of the trooper to inform him that his girlfriend was ready to have a child since time was running out. Trooper Maymi then used his skills to assist Shaniqua to deliver her child at the side of the road. The parents of the child were happy that a state trooper assisted the mom to bring her child into the world by naming her child Maliki Thomas Robertson with Thomas being the first name of the state trooper. In my view Trooper Mayimi is an angel to the couple on that fateful day on January 14. Maybe he will be the child's godfather in the near future. The baby and the parents were then taken to Northwest Regional hospital were the child is alive and in good health.

@Deepizzaguy Good news. I really don't know how much salary these people should have, no matter how much they are given, I think it's small

The salary of a state trooper should be larger since they do tasks that are hard for the average person to deal with. In my opinion they are not paid enough.

I agree with you since police officers should be praised by the news media more often for assisting people in need more often.

As I always say, they do not get paid enough for what they do.

You are right. It is a shame since they put their lives on the line.
