on a cake or cupcakes. I don´t know if it is a new technique in decorating a cake or cupcakes but this morning when I checked out my Fb account, it was on my feed which came from Wilton dot com.
It was good to watch. Then I realized that I have done this butter icing painting before on my cakes by just using a spoon or an eating knife but only on the sides. The one Wilton showed was making flowers butter icing painting on the cake using a long cake icing spatula.
I will be trying flower painting with butter icing soon on my cake when I have my friends to eat it. I have not seen my friends for more than a month because of our lockdown.
Anyway, the photo above is the cupcakes I have made before. It showed up on my memories on FB this morning.
Thanks for reading and have a nice Wednesday.

@thelme55 practice makes perfect as they say. I do think, though, that some people just have more artistic talent than others. I love watching baking shows and know I could never accomplish some of those decorating techniques no matter how much practice I got.

Is it regular butter icing or butter cream? Either way it sounds good

Those coconuts look and sound delicious. I've not heard of the butter icing technique but Wilton is a brand that knows what they are doing.

@thelme55 Hope you have a nice Wednesday too. I do not have steady enough hands to make pretty designs on cakes or cupcakes.

Your cupcakes are very tempting, Ms. Thelma. I’m sure there were gone quickly especially if there were children around :)

Yes, they were long gone. I think I baked and brought them to my relatives in the Netherlands. My nieces and sister have kids there. Thanks @sunrisefan

@DocAndersen Not yet but as soon as my new iPad comes, I will have it. I only want Netflix on my gadget as it is the one I mostly use when watching movies. I leave the tv to my husband.

Mango coconut cupcakes sound tasty and tropical. I bet they would be delciious with a little rum , pineapple or coconut mixed in too.

I agree with you @snowy22315. Sometimes, instead of mango, I used pineapple and it was always good especially with desiccated coconut.
