Poetry: A life of mistakes, is a life of love's long lonely nights.

John wrote such poetry to bring him back to life

John lived a life, where things always went wrong. It upset him, because he never thought himself to blame. The flame of his heart burnt dimmer, and dimmer. He never thought he was strong enough to go on, then on. John never learnt much from these worst of times. Past his prime now, John blamed life for being life, as life. There was no moving on past a mistake, renewed again. Problem after problem pursued him relentlessly, and grew. Problems are part of lifes gluing you to God's love. Without a daily problem, you become really unstuck. Problems cement you to the rightness of right lifes, because without a problem, you never see love's night. Never stop yourself from living because you made a mistake. A mistake doesn't teach us anything, if we call it a mistake. An error, a problem, a mistake, something that's gone wrong, is only really love singing a new song, wanting you to sing along. I really like this and it is so very true, I remember a song from long ago and the words just came to me I may stumble and I may fall nothing matters as long as at the end there is you and I guess I could say that even though these words had nothing to do with the Lord I could say this about Him

Yes, thanks. There have been a few songs that mention, stumbling and falling. There was one called, "Trip, Stumble, and Fall," by the Mamas & the Papas. The first line went: "You're gonna trip, stumble, and fall." Yes, at the end of it all, we will all meet the Lord. Our journey takes us to him, despite, each trip, stumble, fall, mistake, and outer problems, that we might have, or have to face, along the way.

When we stop putting the blame in the wrong place, we will always learn life's lessons and feel God's heart of love.

Yes, that's well said. The first step, is to admit our own sins, and to humbly ask God for forgiveness. If we blame anyone, or anything else, it is not admitting our own sinful, or sometimes only ignorant. part in it all.

A mistake is what make us who we are. Learn from it and move on.

That can be true, if we do learn from our mistakes, they can help to form us, and to make us who we are, but if we become bitter, and sullen, or even angry, about our mistakes, then they can move us away from who we really are too.

The best way for me is not to lose trust in humanity and our creator. We are tools with a mind of our own to find our way and set things right in the overall scheme of things. Something will always be wrong and catch our attention, then we chip in. The reward is doing what is right without looking for what we deem is our right. As long as we find a place in the overall love of our creator, we enjoy bliss. We do his bidding then.

That's very nicely said, siva. Not losing trust in life, ourselves, in humanity, and in our creator, can help us to move us past many a mistake, or problem in our lives, I think too. Yes, if we can trust that, even if we are currently knee-deep in problems, under our feet, we still stand on love, we should push past adversity, and the right way will then open up to allow us to reach past our mistakes, and find solutions to our problems.

@Shiva49 It is hard to know if there was a queue to get in here. But, I do not think so. In God's plan, nothing is rushed, no queuing is required of us. Every step is planned to be for us, to be in the right place, at the right time. God does not create such queues; that is only ourselves that choose to live in that way, creating such unnecessary competition, and the need for such wastefulness, as queues. If we could not trust in God's system, there would be no point in any of this. We need to know that all works together, in some way, in the end, for the fulfilment of his plans, in the best, and goodly of ways too.

@innertalks Yes Steve, we come with individual talents, hopes, and aspirations. We have hidden potential and it is up to us to unearth them and then do our best. However, some come with physical disabilities though we try to window dress by labeling them differently abled etc. or some are born transgender. Now they are accepted into society unlike in earlier times. I do not know how theses happen and why. We can say pain is physical and suffering an option. What gives as we are not born equal but as I surmise often we are dealt cards not of our choice or did we have a say in making them? Will we ever know?
