I wanted to share this birthday candle with you. I’ve never seen anything like it. I took a screenshot shot from my son’s girlfriend’s video. Just found out that her mother picked it up in Brazil a while ago. She’s head airline stewardess and travels all over the world. It beats blowing out candles on a birthday cake any time, especially these days.

@much2say I really don’t know. I’ll have to ask him. It was already that high in the video and lasted throughout the birthday song. Then began to get lower and lower. I d be afraid to light it, too. Good thing he has high ceilings.

@DianneN I'm on 2/1 - will be 39 this year. 39? When did that happen? The good thing about that candle is, even if someone DID breath on the cake, the candle would probably get hot enough to melt the germs lol

Nice photograph. We sell these type of fire candles but I did not know it can shoot up to that height. It is a craze these days to use this type of fire candles. Most of them are made in China.

My brother used that kind of birthday candles on the cake for the last birthday of my mother. They are available on Amazon Italy in different sizes. We call them "fireworks candles".

@LadyDuck You never can tell. My husband wouldn’t allow them either. My son and his girlfriend stayed far away from it and had a fire extinguisher handy just in case. Aniella has been using them for years and never had a problem. I want one for my next birthday cake!
