I couldn't believe it. I woke up from an afternoon nap the other day, checked on my Ipad for notifications and discovered a lovely surprise - my elder daughter was included in Britannica's 20 Under 40 Shapers of the Future.
Of course this mother spun to click mode, sharing my wonderful surprise to my facebook friends with a caption that brags this mother being a success. Ha ha. I couldn't contain my joy. It's not everyday that a mother gets to receive such a wonderful surprise.

Thank you very much. Motherhood did not come with instruction manual but I am simply happy my daughters turned out to be real good people.

Thank you. I was just a grateful mother that my daughters excelled in the academe, and later, in their professional work. Never in my dream that my daughter's ideas and work could impact the future. Pinching my self now and processing that my daughter is really presenting new ideas for a better world.

It was unexpected. Never in our dreams to create such an impact to the world. My daughter was simply serious with her research and her work. I suppose she did make the difference in her advocacy.
Thank you.

I couldn't believe it. My daughter was just focused on the work. But I know she gives her best in all her undertakings. That she caught the eye of Britannica means her work does speak volumes.
Thanks for the good wishes. Appreciate that very much.
