You know about Batman's secret lair ... d'you ever notice how almost every version of Batman has a different secret-entrance (not just the old TV-show and each of the movies, but also all the different cartoon-series https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNCpgBO-0LE )
Well, watching NETFLIX's broadcast of GOTHAM (last episode of season one) I think I saw my favorite secret-entrance-to-the-Batcave.
In case you missed it (SPOILER ALERT), young Bruce had been digging up the secrets of the company he owns---finding out they've been committing crimes for the two or three generations before him, even though he was sure his father and grandfather were good, moral men.
When he finally confronted the company's manager about the crimes, the manager replies that Bruce's father & grandfather both KNEW about all the crimes Wayne Enterprises had to commit. On Bruce's way out of the office, Lucius Fox stops him and tells him ONE THING: "Your Father was a STOIC man!"
Important because--in this episode, after Bruce had searched all over his father's office (to try to find out why Father Wayne (was his name Thomas? I forget) would stay in there for hours with the doors locked)--he remembered "Stoic! Marcus Aurellius!" and he found the Waynes' 'Marcus Aurellius'-book, opened it, and found a remote-control hidden in the cover; and that opened the batcave.
What's YOUR favorite secret-entrance?

I think I remember that episode. My husband and I watched the first few seasons of Gotham but lost track of it. Of course, while the show is doing its own take on Bruce and all of the villains he faceses as Batman, I got tired of trying to explain every single character. Because my husband has only seen the 60's t.v. series.
