Do You Think The Media Contradict Themselves Over Covid?

An example of this (both the BBC and Sky News are guilty parties) is the 'holiday' question. Now, usually, both these channels scaremonger regularly over the virus, getting various 'experts' on saying we should 'extend the lockdown' etc. Then, later on in the day when the following days' newspapers are being reviewed by media commentators and news presenters they suddenly start becoming obsessed with holidays and 'when will it be safe to travel abroad?' HUH!! If they want us to open up and have more freedom just come out and say it, don't casually mention 'holidays' when they know full well that's not going to happen anytime soon. Oh wait, it did..for Captain Tom. Forgot about him!

Hi Janey! Glad to see you here again. Yes, dear old Captain Tom. He's in hospital now with breathing problems, but I guess that is to be expected when you're 100 years old.

I believe its the media which is making more people to some level get infected. Each day the media is giving different dos and do nots.

It was absolutely fine for him to go on holiday when he did. They flew out on Dec 11 before lockdown and when the tier system was in place. Tier 2 people were allowed to travel.

Only believe half of what you see and nothing you hear. My Dad always told me that!
