I have the country station from xm playing right now and a Miranda Lambert song started.
Every time I hear a Miranda Lambert song it reminds me of myLotter @JohnRoberts. She was one of his favorite country singers and we had several discussions about her, and her music.
I have just about come to terms with the fact that he is probably no longer with us. Which is sad. It would of been interesting to hear his opinion of everything that our country and the world have seen in the last year since he "left" us.

A couple of us have discussed him lately. I didn't talk to him as much as the rest of you, but yes I think he's probably no longer with us.

I know him from back in persona paper days so we've known each other since before my daughter was born so it's been a while but I have a feeling that he passed. It's been too long without hearing from him.

It is funny you mention Miranda Lambert. I was JUST talking about her with my co-worker as one of her songs, Settling Down was streaming out in the warehouse. I was telling him I really like her, and that song and one other, Blue Bird just really sticks in your head. Such a beautiful voice, and I really like her singing style.
She's gorgeous too. 
About John Roberts, I miss the hell out of that guy. But I suspect you are right. His departure was too sudden to simply conclude he just quit, especially considering he left no indication of that. I wish there was a better conclusion to draw, but unfortunately...

The House that Built me is one of my favorite songs she did.
I've tried to find more info on him, but it's hard to find out anything because that was a pen name. And he was always so private.

@porwest it probably didn't get as much national radio play but they play it on Sirius XM all the time.
I could probably dig up what happened to him it would just take a little bit of digging and a lot of time I've known him since before I was on my lot since the other website so I can probably dig up an email and then find him from that

Yes. He was extremely private. Maybe someone out there had a closer connection and knows something? But then, we'd probably already have our answer if that were so.

He was such a good guy. He tried to be such a mean and grouchy person, but he wasn't. He was such a great guy.
