I like the way that the Utz brothers who are A J, Wesley and Mason are doing their part to assist the charity called the Wounded Warrior Project by putting together and painting wooden American flags and selling them to the public in their hometown of Point Loma California. Ted Utz who is the father of three children who are in the age range of six years of age through 11 years with A J being the youngest and Wesley the oldest at 11 years of age was inspired to start this project when he saw a wooden American flag on the lawn of a home in his hometown. Nadine Utz started the project as a way to teach her children how to be responsible citizens at a young age. The project has raised more than $1,400 dollars for the Wounded Warrior project which benefits the families of wounded combat veterans. The good news is that Utz family plans to continue making the wooden American flags for sale as long as the demand for them continues.

That's a wonderful way to teach responsibility. Personally I don't like the Wounded Warrior's because I do not trust the money goes to the veterans and their needs.

I have bad things from Wounded Warriors myself from a former talk show host on Fox News myself.

@Deepizzaguy I can't recall where I'd heard about it, but it's made me hesitant to donate though donating to veterans is a worthy cause.

This is a very cool project; and I'm glad more and more young people are getting into charitable endeavors.

It is a good way for the brothers to learn to be concerned for the welfare of our brave men and women serving in the armed forces.
