What is more important, family or career?

career would be nothing if you will not have your family to share it with while you are succeeding. That is my opinion.

That is a hard decision to make. If you can not stand the sufferings of your family due to lack of even for the only basic needs then have faith that nothing bad will happen to your direction.Pursuing your career will help them achieve the same success you will get as you help them in the end. If you join them in their misery and poverty then see and feel if you wish to live that way all your life.

We all have our personal opinion about that. I value family more than career and have made many compromises when it comes to my career. But I have a lot of respect for those who take tough decisions keeping their career as main goal. We all are different and have different priorities.
