Hi guys,
Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. I was wondering today that do animals understand when we talk to them??!!.
I personally don't have any pets at Home. I have seen people and in movies when animals understand and responds if you talk with them. Sometimes, they understand the silence when one is sad and just sit beside you to give you company. I feel animals are much better then humans in this respect as they are by your side no matter what, gives you unconditional love and support without expecting anything in return. They aren't judgemental like us humans and are just being there for us.
Kindly let me know your thoughts about it.

Animals are pure souls. They understand you if loved. They understand the language of love and care. I don't know if they can read facial expressions or not, but i have a dog at home, and he understand my mood by my expressions. I had almost all types of pets which one could had and had a very enriching experience.

I think they do understand us, especially when we pet them.

I do think, animals could understand what we're talking or expressing.Dog could be trained by the Human language, some smart animals(like dolphin, cat etc)also could do it.
We should do our best to protect the young and little animals, because natural things is the gift from the god,if we exterminate them,God also will exterminate us one day.

I have 12 cats and 3 donkeys @Rashnag and yes they do understand us. I also ran an animal shelter for several years and had 106 dogs at one time and I taught them commands (kinda like Police dogs) and it was easy to do. Simple 1 or 2 words and hand motions. They also pick up on the pitch of your voice on whether you are happy, sad or mad.
