Fried garlic

I went to the store to get fried garlic for First sister. I also want a pack for myself to eat with rice or any other food.
I never been to particular store so I didn't know where to look for it. So I asked the owner. She said they're at the back. Okay, I went to the back and didn't know where to look. I found fried shallots but not fried garlic. Maybe the owner didn't hear me properly? Maybe I heard her wrong?
So I asked a staff who was arranging the items nearby. He said they didn't sell it. He even had the audacity to snicker at me. The heck!
Okay, maybe he didn't know, so I asked a female staff instead. She looked very confused at my question
At that point, I was really annoyed. So I called my friend, who referred me to the store. She was already outside as she wanted to buy something as well, but changed her mind when she saw the queue outside the store.
My friend gave me a specific direction on where to go and what to look at. There they were! The fried garlic!
I asked her whether she wanted a pack as well and she said yes. So I grabbed four. Two for First sister. I passed the male staff on my way out. I couldn't help but to show it to his face.
"This is the fried garlic! It does exist!"

@UriahAnne since I know where and what to look, I won't ask them again. I also prefer not to go there anymore.

I would say that they were quite unprofessional there. They work in that store and should be able to help customers for such simple questions. Good that you pointed it out to the male staff there.

It's a shame the staff did not know what they are selling.

@prinzcy Or the staff could be new hires and still not familiar with their merchandise.
