So much has been happening in real life it's hard to get here and just type. Sorry to say. Like I have been having a physical therapist in to try and get me moving about like I used to. Thank God medicare is paying for that at least.
I get so sore from it that the next day is even harder to move around. I just keep hoping that one day I will get it back to some degree. I was so sore this morning that after eating and taking a pain pill I dosed off to sleep in the middle of a movie. and had a day/ nightmare . I was sitting in a doctors office and went out side to find a place with a bathroom
was walking along and met a guy smoking and asked him for a cigarette ..Crazy I still crave them after 8 yrs of having to give them up
It's a terrible addiction. He said he didn't have another.
I woke up then sweating and having to get up and go pee.
Doctors still haven't figured out this sweating thing I have and it's getting worse it seems. uugghh!
I sweat from head to toe even when it is cold in my room. Anyone else have this problem ?
Anyone else here just dose off suddenly even when you have had plenty of sleep?

The only time I sweat a lot is when I'm dreaming. I'm usually up all night; so I conk out when on the computer or watching TV. I hope the therapy helps you.

@bunnybon7 Yes. And it only happens when I'm dreaming. My dreams are always very detailed and very real-feeling.

If I may make a suggestion, Dearheart?
For the past I-don't-remember-how-long I've been having problems like that... But I was also having symptoms like allergic reactions, at the same time. We thought I was having allergic reactions... until six months ago. My doctors have always checked my blood chemistry and found no problems. Six months ago my doctor told me I needed to go see an Endocrinologist because my thyroid seemed to be over-producing hormones. (I have hyperthyroidism.)
The endocrinologist ran scans and gave me Methimazole.
I went from having "allergic reactions" two or three times a week to three times a month. (And these are actually allergic reactions.) I don't sweat (while other people around me are cold) all the time anymore and sleep normally now. It was such a relief to finally figure out what was causing all the problems!
Ask your doctor to run a thyroid check. (Even though my thyroid hormones were within "normal" levels, they were still on the high side. Of course nobody suggested they could be just high enough to be causing all the other problems I was experiencing. Doctors don't think outside the box!)

I have had a couple nurses suggest thyroid and I think you are probably right. I am going to have to push for this I know. Thank you.

@bunnybon7 You're welcome. While I'd rather you don't have anything wrong, I can tell you it is a relief when doctors finally figure out what is causing symptoms other people don't normally experience.
I got chilly in the house (we keep the house set at 69 F and have for years) and Pretty laughed and told me I'm experiencing 'normal' reactions to temperatures now. She claims I might even be able to go outside in summertime without sweating through my clothes as soon as I close the storm door behind me. (She ask me how it felt to be a 'normal' human being for a change. )

No sweating since getting through the hot flashes. But have they checked your hormones? It can be related to an imbalance. I do find I can sometimes doze off for no reason.

I wish you could do some gentle stretches in warm water. I hated water aerobics and yet I need it. The Pandemic has shut the pool down but I need to be exercising my messed up back. I had a horrendous sciatica attack yesterday- huge warning that I need to be working on strengthening me.

@JudyEv very bad. One minute it's hot and muggy and hour later it's cold and feels windy.
My doctor told me when she saw me couple days ago, and it was about 3 in the afternoon, that she had had her jacket on and back off 5 times already that day

@bunnybon7 I'm sure that's correct but I rarely ever get the chance to 'passive smoke' so hopefully I'll be okay. I hope your day is going well. Have you been having terrible weather there? It's lovely and sunny here.

I don't have a sweating problem but I have a lot of ailments. I'm usually in pain, my back, neck and shoulder; plus I have breathing problems. I do fall asleep sometimes and am tired all the time. Have you been checked for sleep apnea? I have it and it was part of my problem.

I may have but don't think I could sleep anyway with another thing on my face. I already have oxygen on my face all night and day 24/7

I fall asleep all the time in the day and sleep a few hours at night too. I have had nightmares in the day. Also have night sweats. They are awful sometimes.
There is a diagnosis for all that sweating. The doc can control it with meds. If one doc doesn't help, find another. There is help out there. It has something to do with whatever controls the sweat glands.

I think so. It's hormones and I think they can't give me anything for it cause I had cancer.
Actually at this point and my age I would rather feel better what time I have left then worry about getting cancer again
