How Can I Work?

Meet Cal, our office/warehouse cat. I am sure I have mentioned him before. Maybe not. But he is actually Grayson's brother.
The wife and I got Grayson from the same place we got Cal at the office.
Right now he is sitting in my lap. A place that, for whatever reason, he tends to hang out, and for whatever reason seems to spend the most time in my office throughout the day.
On the weekends I bring Cal home so he and Grayson can hang out. They have a lot of fun when they are not trying to kill each other...
But no worries, even the fighting is just play fighting.
But right now, with this cat on my lap, with 20 minutes left to go before quitting time, how am I supposed to get any work done? And now my legs are beginning to get numb from being in the same position too long not wanting to disturb him.
Confound it.

Isn't it funny that our pets seem to own us, rather than the other way around?

@porwest And you know what else? When was the last time a president was voted into office who didn't have a pet? I think our pets not only own us, but also determine who gets into the White House!

@moffittjc Yeah. So far as I recall most presidents had a pet. Not that I think it says ANYTHING about the man. Trump was actually the first president in 100 years to not have a dog in the White House. I am sure the libs will have something to say about that. lol

@Deepizzaguy Only two of them? lol. I suppose you have some work to do to earn the friendship of the other four.

At work, if Cal is not in my lap as I am sitting at my desk, if I go into the warehouse he sits in my chair. He does not do this with any of the other guys in the office. Only me. And even when the cat "cuddles" with the other guys in the office, as soon as I walk into the room he leaves them and comes to me. lol

Aww, he's a beautiful cat. We have 2 and they fight, and kiss and makeup.

it's very hard to do paperwork when you're a pet around you.i had some rabbits in my home,i'd let them gambol on my bed,at that time,i never do paperwork.Because they always ran close to me and snuggled up to me.but i would put them in the hut in the evening, that's when i started doing my paperwork

Cats do sort of gravitate to me. I am not sure why that is. I am not HUGELY fond of cats. But cats are always fond of me. Even when I visit other ;people who have cats, they always wind up in my lap somehow. I don't ask for it. It just happens. lol

Pet him, pick him up and relocate him. He might act like he hates you, but he'll get over it.
