Good Morning 2/5

Roomie and I were just talking about possible snow Sat. into Sun. Hopefully it isn't a lot. Sunday is supposed to be pretty warm so it should melt.

@snowy22315 more snow here on Sun too but probably nothing like what we got at the beginning of the week. I'm already sick of it and it isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

@Marilynda1225 Yes, and the weatherman last night was hinting about a snowstorm down the road. Weather.com was forecasting an above normal temp for this Feb..umm, I don't think so, unless it comes in the last week of the month.

Fog is fun to look at but not drive in.

That is really wonderful. It is really nice to be appreciated. Far too few places do that to the extent it is needed anyway.

@snowy22315 You're right. I try not to speak of it for the most part, it does push me to work harder and do a little better. Our son is so proud of me, and he tells me that every now and again. He felt bad that I quit a job that I just loved a few years ago when we moved up here. We moved as my hubby found a great job up this way and we wanted to live closer to our son. We no sooner moved and a couple of months later he and his wife had to move 2 hours in the other direction for her career. And he felt terrible that I quit something that I loved to move to a city where we moved to because of him. But, nobody twisted our arm to move, but it sure feels good when your grown children can speak openly like that to you.

Usually focus groups in person will pay something in the neighborhood of that...Once in awhile a good one will come up online, but I never seem to qualify for them.

@snowy22315 I never did an in person one. It’s been so long ago, that I can’t remember how this came about. I also had one phone interview for $75 . Can’t remember a thing about it other than the guy was nice and my husband was listening in the same room.

What is really frustrating me now is that no one from the mysery shopping company will get back to me..and authorize my next steps. They have gotten worse as the years have gone on. I would just quit but when the shops work out well, which is not too much of the time these days..they are quite enjoyable.
