I want to share a funny story.

This is a story that can be called a timeless classic in our family. I keep telling it whenever we get family get togethers because it' s just so funny. For me it is but yeah it depends on you whether you find it funny or not. Okay this story took place a few years ago when my sister-in-law visited us to hang out. It was night time and there were a lot of mosquitoes flying all over. she decided to try and kill some of them by clapping her hands. "There are a lot of mosquitoes today" she said as she clapped her hands together. Just then a big cockroach came flying between us and she just kept trying to kill the mosquitoes. She suddenly shouted "This mosquito is big!" over and over while trying to kill the cockroach. I don't know how she saw it as a big mosquito but this cockroach was at adult size and was just flying between us while she was still trying to kill it. What was I doing? I was staring at her in awe and was trying to keep a poker face. Flying cockroaches bother me quite a lot and I would be trying to get away and get a something else to shoo it away but there was my sister-in-law still thinking that it was a big mosquito. Unfortunately, she didn't get to kill the cockroach and it just flew away. She was like, "Dang! I didn't get to kill that big mosquito!" I asked her if she really thought that it was a mosquito and I can already feel myself smirking. "Then what was that thing if it wasn't a mosquito?" She finally asked. "Big sis. It was a cockroach." I think when I said it she was confused and finally realized it or I don't know but I was already laughing. She yelled at me and shook me why didn't I tell it sooner. I replied that I was curious at what she would do once she catches it and realizes that it was not a big mosquito. It was so comical and I still laugh whenever I tell this story to the family lol. How about you guys, if this situation happened to you where a person with you started trying to kill an adult cockroach thinking it was a big mosquito, would you stay quiet or just tell them outright. Or like me, trying to see what their reaction would be if they were able to catch it lol. I would love to hear your thoughts about it.
