Garlic Breath

Garlic is so healthy for us and makes certain meals delicious, but it really stinks ~ on others.
If you and someone else have it, you can’t smell it on each other.
Hubs never liked it, and when I had it, he used to say, “P U!”
Over the years, I have snuck it into his meals, and he seems to like it. He turned into a foodie like me! However, I never served it if I knew we were going to be around people the following day.
There is one good thing about the pandemic. We are not around people and if we are, we wear masks!
Tonight’s dinner is roasted chicken thighs, roasted fresh green beans with mushrooms and garlic cloves, and mashed potatoes. Mmmmm!

You know I've rode the bus sitting next to garlic order. I like garlic, but it is pungent. Your dinner sounds yummy. I ate leftover stew.

@kobesbuddy I usually bake it in tinfoil and squeeze it out of an entire garlic.
I also roast cloves whole, sliced, or chopped with whatever vegetables I roast.
Frying is different and done in a frying pan, but that’s considered fried garlic.

The Dinner sounds great ! But as I am getting fine after a few days of cold and flu, I am trying to have simpler food.
Garlic does causes bad breath but has a lot of health benefits that go with it.

I am getting better though even mild cold and flu also leaves minor headache and tiredness.
At such times we realise the importance of being healthy.

If I get to know of antibodies then it will be a bigger trouble. Now I am even better with no fever.
Some headache but that looks like due to Gastric problem perhaps.

Garlic smells never bothered me for some reason, but yah, some people think it's gross. We use a lot of garlic here. Right, there are several things we don't have to worry about for now because of the pandemic (that could be another post) . . . masks did me some favors . Dinner sounds delicious !!

I like garlic but not too much of it in my meal. It does add flavor that makes a meal go from bland to delicious. Your dinner sounds really good.
We had chicken tonight too

@DianneN I used to love shoes and had a closet full. Now my knees won't allow me to indulge in many different styles

My girlfriend and I are huge fans of garlic, and we follow the same rule...we only eat it if we know we won't be around a lot of people the next day. So we eat it a lot on Saturdays, since Sundays are usually our day together by ourselves.

I don't mind the flavor, so I will use garlic powder/salt - but I wouldn't want to bite into a piece of it lol. Glad you found ways to sneak it into his meals...and such. The chicken and potatoes sound good!

Garlic is the basic spice in most Indonesian dishes, so I eat it almost every day. Strangely, I didn't feel that my breath became smelly after eating it, this is probably because the garlic is mixed with other herbs and spices, especially chili.
