I am not being paid to say this - but even though it can be annoying and not always worth the money that you get, but it certainly is a good way to make a little bit of extra dough if you have some extra time, a car, patience, and a smart phone with a data plan. Since Feb 1st, I made just over $300 just on days off, here and there, a few hours at a time. I will, eventually, have to pay taxes on this since I plan on making over $600 this year, but this will be great extra spending money! I am currently "saving up" for some trip money, since my current full-time job has been pretty dry on the overtime
Shipt is sort of like Instacart, but for mostly Target, but also Hyvee, and some other big box stores, where essentially you shop and deliver items for people.
lately. BUT besides the ups and downs of it - they have a pretty solid list of "benefits" - and some of the main ones I thought were cool are below:
Benefits of Shipt
*Not great pay, but able to do it basically whenever you have time and an order available. Not everyone tips and they should. Sometimes stores are out of stock of the items. I've never done an apartment delivery or prepaid delivery, but those feel more complicated.
*They are offering "COVID assistance" if you have to quarantine due to COVID and lose out on their income (I don't know exactly what they give you, but cool to see this happening).
*Supposedly A FREE SHIPT year membership, where you can get your OWN Target orders delivered to your doorstep quick, and for free (but, remember to tip!)
*Monthly PPE if you are an active shopper (what this means: antibacterial wipes, hand sanitizer spray, and a reusable Shipt COVID face mask!)
*Also don't quite know how this works, but they are offering to reimburse you $50 if you get a COVID vaccine. Not entirely sure how this works at all.
Do you have a side gig? How is your side gig going?

I don't think that we have that around here, but that sounds great...especially the earnings...really guess it depends on how many hours you worked to get those amounts.
I tried Instacart, but never got orders (it was new here when I tried it before) and tried Door Dash, but only delivered 2 or 3 meals lol
