Are face to face classes allowed in your country?

My neighbor ( a high school student) said that the city government was considering about the resumption of face to face classes. I think they are confident about it because of vaccines. They are not sure yet but their plan really scares some parents. What about in your country?

@Janet357 They are quick to bring in restrictions if anyone tests positive.

Some schools in the US are doing this and others are conducting classes online. The ones that are having face to face classes are being picketed by parents fearful of their children getting sick. I don't think it should be allowed, but don't have a child school age anymore.

@Janet357 Some schools are having face to face classes because they get more money from the Federal Government for starting classes back up. I don't agree with that. The parents should have the right to homeschool their kids if they want. (Most people are still out of work right now so could easily homeschool their kids themselves if it were allowed.)

This is also my concern. Why allow their kids but then it is their system. good thing your children are all grown now

I heard that after the vaccine, it is possible. But I also heard that the vaccine is not yet applicable for kids. I am not sure.

Students have been back in school since September here in Alberta. There are very strict protocols. For example, at recessstudents only play with their class on the playground. There have been cases at schools, then everyone who is a close contact has to quarantine at home. Parents have the option to keep their students doing home learning. I think most of Canada has been doing in school learning this school year.

@Janet357 even better might be completely staying home. But that just wouldn't happen. Parents work, kids need babysitters, etc.

My grandson goes to school two days a week for in person classes. The other three days it's virtual from home. Half the school goes on Mon & Tues, Wed no students and the school gets sanitized and on Thurs & Fri the other half of the students attend.

Here in New Zealand, face to face classes have already resumed for quite some time. It’s not my country though as I’m only a visitor.

With all precautions, school reopened in our country. Looking at that, I think classes should be allowed as well.

the presence of a vaccine does not allow a person to be free from covid
