The Beverly Hillbillies

Oh this made me smile! I don't remember him being cast on the show!

Times have changed quite a bit since then. Life was so much simpler. Nowadays, people walk around on eggshells around each other afraid to say/do anything that might "offend" someone else.

My favourite was Ellie May for me at least. The mask on the right? Oh well never mind loved the whole show in general but Ellie was my fave then.

Oh my goodness, Bernie Sanders has become a meme.

Bernie looks cold there? Funny a politician from Vermont with such a chilly climate needs mittens in California. I liked Jethro. Maybe because I felt sorry for him getting smacked around by Granny and Ellie Mae.

Oh yes, I remember it well. My son used to have a video tape of the movie they made too.

The photo of Bernie Sanders wearing a mask. I enjoyed seeing the Beverly Hillbillies when they played on the Southern Command Network (SCN) in Panama in reruns. Television shows today do not have the same witty comments without the use of profanity anymore.

I loved watching the Beverly Hillbillies and adored Jethro Bodine. Ladies weren't impressed by his charm Oh my gosh, Bernie Sanders is riding in the back seat! lol

Poor old Bernie Sanders had no clue that he was going to become the “star” of so many memes and photos when he was sitting out there looking cold and miserable at the Biden inauguration. He probably hates it, but they are mostly all funny. I remember watching the Beverly Hillbillys when it was on television, and it was always fun to watch and interesting characters. I enjoyed the strange ideas and concoctions that Granny was always coming up with, from her trove of Hillbilly lore.

Yeah, I'm tired of seeing that masked weirdo. I like all of them at one time or another but my favorite was Miss Jane, boy was she funny.

Barnie Sanders was part of the Hillbillies.

My husband and I still love watching it.

Ha ha who put Bernie Sanders there? I used to enjoy this, and I acquired a DVD of the show last year and introduced the girls to it!

When I lived in the US we used to watch it. Not one of my favourites. How do we know he wasn't there at the time?

Bernie made another appearance. Beverly Hillbillies, Petticoat Junction, The Andy Griffith Show...so many old shows.
