Atithi Devo Bhav i.e. Guests are like God!!

Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. My day is going well so far. In India, there is one of the saying "Atithi Devo Bhav" in sanskrit which translated into English means "Guests are like God"!! In India, we give most importance to this saying and whenever some guests come at our place, we try to comfort them by providing anything and everything within one's limits and sometimes going overboard. There are many number of tourists visiting India every year before the pandemic and wherever they stayed a warm welcome is given to them as if treating them just as God. They are exposed to India's cultural dance and plays which varies according to different places. I am proud of being Indian. At our place too whenever some guests comes we try to make them comfortable as much as we can. Do share your thoughts and experiences about it. Have you visited India or not?!! Have a good day!
