I was reminded of this by Fleur’s (@fleura) interesting post. You can catch up here:
In Western Australia, we’ve been incredibly lucky to have escaped the clutches of the coronavirus. We’ve had very few cases and our restrictions have been minimal. I have to hand it to our Premier and other top officials for the way they have handled the pandemic – and also the huge bushfire that ravaged the state recently.
Each morning throughout the worst of the pandemic and the bushfire, the Premier and other officials have appeared on TV to keep us all up to date with the latest news and restrictions. They have also answered questions from journalists. It’s shown on a Facebook page I think.
However, one morning the interview was delayed for some reason and people started commenting while they were waiting. Within seconds, the remarks became totally irrelevant and quite inane such as:
Did you know six of the seven dwarves aren’t Happy?
Does anyone have a ride-on mower for sale?
What time does Ascot Tavern open?
Does anyone have a foolproof recipe for pavlova?
I had eggs for breakfast.
Has anyone seen Joe lately?
We’re going to take photos at a horse trekkers event shortly. The venue is stunningly beautiful. They’re camped by a big dam with attracts a lot of waterbirds. It is really hilly country, much more hilly than our own area.
The photo is of one of the riders with her Friesian-cross horse.
The post by @JudyEv just made me think of this - although it isn’t at all the same, but it is joke-related! Our village has a Facebook group. I’ve never joined...

That sounds cool. People can get so random sometimes.

I love the photo, Ms.Judy. It exudes the serenity of the place. Did you take the shot?

@sunrisefan It would have been nice to have camped there for the night but apparently it got very windy later.

@JudyEv Even if it was taken from the side, I still find it a great shot because of that serene ambience.

@LowRiderX We have a website where we sell our photos. Mostly, we both take photos of horses and riders at endurance rides. However, I feel very uncomfortable with calling myself a 'professional photographer'.

I had to tell Pretty about the seven dwarves.... She looked at me for a minute, said, "Well, that's just... " and started laughing! Thank you so much!
I hope you have a good day taking photos and enjoying the nice weather, Judy.

@JudyEv It was really funny. She started to say something seriously and then got the joke! I've never seen her react like that before!
Good! I'm glad to hear that.

@DaddyEvil I think it makes everyone do a double take. I just thought it was really clever. It makes me giggle whenever I think of it.

Thanks for the mention!
That reminds me of something else. A long time ago there was some kind of information event for students. I saw a poster about it, and at the end it said 'Any questions, contact... whoever-it-was'. Someone had later added, in between the words 'any' and 'questions', the word 'relevant'. That made me laugh. I could just imagine the organiser being contacted with all sorts of random unrelated questions. You know:
'What is your favourite colour?'
'What is the answer to life, the universe and everything?'
How many souls fit on the head of a pin?'
And the like.

Thanks. He is one of those horses that make it difficult to take a bad photo. I wish they were all like that.

I'm glad your Premier and other top officials have kept the Corona Virus under control and everyone kept informed. The problem in the US, our government has become a terrible mess and much of the news, isn't the truth. I love this photo, what a gorgeous horse!
