How Dominos Pizza Made Money Today Thanks To MyLot

Granted. It's Friday. You work all week and make your money. You cook all week because it's just the right thing to do and it saves money. Friday should be a treat night, right?
It's only right.
I had no intention, tonight, of having that treat though. I was going to just cook something.
But then two incorrigible MyLotters mentioned pizza. None other than @Tina30219 and @CarolDM. These are the culprits, thank you very much. They have caused me to get a taste for a pizza, and now I will have pizza.
We will get that and a couple salads. The wifey and I. From Dominos.
And that is how Dominos Pizza made money today thanks to MyLot. Best part for them is that they didn't even have to pay a dime to MyLot for advertising to get some pizza sold.
I wonder, though, if now that I have mentioned Dominos, their ads might start appearing on my MyLot pages?
Either way, bon appetit. I will get the Extravaganza and probably cash in a free medium pizza as well with my rewards. It will be good, as it always is.
@NJChicaa, feel free to send me puke faces. I know THIS pizza is not a NEW JERSEY pizza, so it will probably be crap to you. But I will enjoy it.

My brother has a Dominoes franchise in south Florida. When I'm down there visiting, I can get all the free pizza I want! lol

@porwest My brother says they were great many, many years ago, then they switched to cheaper ingredients, and their quality went downhill fast (they were doing it to try and stay competitive with all the other pizza delivery companies). So many people complained that they switched back to their original good quality ingredients, and you could immediately tell the difference. Their pizzas are now good again.

I bet he does pretty well with it. Domino's has really come around over the years. It used to be a really crappy pizza, but it has definitely been improved. And I like a lot of their other offerings as well. Free pizza cannot be a bad thing. lol

There's also Dominos Pizza here in Auckland and my daughters like their pizza. Aside from Dominos, I also like burgers from Burger Fuel. So with their kumara chips.

@porwest I think Burger Fuel is only in New Zealand. So far though, it’s the burger I like best. I also like Domino Pizza we seldom eat pizza.

@sunrisefan Yeah, definitely none here in the U.S. that I am aware of. Maybe one day. As for pizza, we don't eat it often. Maybe once every other month or so. We eat more Chinese, sometimes twice a month on that one.

@porwest I work at a family- owned pizza shop. We like OUR pizza :-D. It's my job #3. Yes, I have 3 jobs currently . 1. Teacher Aide 2. Educator at OSHC; 3. front bench expert pizza-basing.

We had to go out to buy my hubby a new TV; and then we went to the Olive Garden. I had a gift card that I had earned; so the meal was pretty much paid for. It was yummy. We had pizza on Super Bowl Day. It was yummy too. I got my money's worth by getting an Any Pizza and loading it up with toppings.

@LindaOHio I think I have mentioned to you before about one we get sometimes called the Apondonza. It has 12 toppings on it. Man, is that a good pizza.

DOn't quite know yet. Dish washer just stopped and hubby hasn't decided if he's going to cut the pork or not. If he says he wants something out of the freezer I won't be surprised.

We actually did have pizza tonight also. But it was a gluten free crust pepperoni that I doctored up with extra cheese, sauce, and sausage. Not Pizza Inn, but not bad.

Pizza sounds good, although I am not the biggest fan of Dominos. Didn't have dinner myself as I had a big lunch out earlier with my husband for an early Valentine's meal.

There was a time when I did not like Dominos. But they have really improved their pizza over the years, and now it has become one of my favorites when it comes to what I refer to as "chain pizza."
I hate it when I have too big of a lunch, especially too late in the day, and it kind of ruins supper for me.

@porwest Well that is good to hear that they have improved. I don't hate their pizza...If they had a stuffed crust, I'd change my mind I think lol.
We got pizza hut today and I couldn't even eat it...we got their new Detroit style pizza. Yuck....a bunch of tomatoes on top in a sauce. Ok, I know a non-picky eater would probably enjoy it lol
