Stumbled Across The Wonderful World Of Alternate Reality Games...

Hey All, it's been a while since I've been on My Lot. I guess I've just been really busy with real life stuff. During my time off of My Lot, I have stumbled onto a type of "game" that is very unique. Particularly one called: I am Sophie. These games are set up as "real" people with Social Media's you follow for clues. Most times these games are centered around "Horror" or the "Paranormal" or both. I find these games very spooky, and even gory - but so interesting that I binged the entire series thus far, and am so happy that it's starting up again tomorrow! The biggest thing about these games is that they are so realistic, that sometimes the clues get taken down for violating terms of service. That's a bit scary when you think about it! However, even though they can often be violent and gory, I have been having fun trying to figure it all out. If you are interested in something like this I highly recommend you try it. You won't be disappointed, I know I wasn't. For those of you who might be interested in something like this there is loads of information about it on my blog. Anyway, I have some questions for those of you who aren't knew to ARGs as well. Have you been following I am Sophie? Do you think it's too dark? I'd really like to know what other fans think of this series. I haven't joined the discord, and haven't really interacted with the community thus far.

Sort of, it's got some stalker elements, but leans heavily towards the supernatural/paranormal as well.

Can't say I'm into that. I do tend to favor interactive stories. So, maybe?

Alternate reality games are works of unfiction. It's also very interactive. How the viewers react can even alter the storyline, change the fate of the characters etc. The one I'm into uses Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube as the platforms (at least so far). You may enjoy them if you can find one to your taste. I heard the Dad ARG isn't scary, just strange.
