Weekend's here , what plans do you have ? / myLot

I don't have any plans except do more gardening and cleaning

, and go for a long drive in the evening... Here, people venture out with caution ,so beaches and restaurants are normally half empty. How about you ? How are things at your place?

Fairly normal. It's speed weeks so it's noisy and a bit busy. I am not sure about the tourism, but all the nascar teams are in town and the track is getting its annual use.

@kiran8 Yes, the tourism industry has taken the hardest hit. Most people who normally would travel, won't.

Is the venturing out with caution due to COVID, or the weather, or something else? Just wondering. Here in Minnesota (US) we still have COVID, not everyone has had a COVID vaccine, but things are getting "back to normal", people are just going out now and wearing masks while they do so and trying to socially distance. I work Saturday night, and it's supposed to be -22 degrees F on Sunday, (which is -30 degrees celsius) so I will likely be sheltering inside.

Hi maezee, it is very cold there in Minnesota...here , the Covid is very much under control and people use masks and social distancing . However, I guess there is always the fear of a second wave and so being careful until the vaccine reaches everyone ..
