Please Cancel My Order. Here's PhP60 Voucher

I ordered food for my sister yesterday. When I messaged her to tell her that I already had confirmation from the app that the food is being prepared, my niece told me that they are out. They went to my bother's house before going to the salon. I told her to call her father to pick up the order. The estimated delivery was 5-15 minutes. So I asked her if she can tell her papa to rush to the pick up point. I ordered at 11:08 AM. I've been monitoring the app that time. The delivery was adjusted to 15-30 minutes. It was still being prepared at 11:47 AM. That was more than 30 minutes already. So I decided to cancel my order. But Food Panda explained that I cannot cancel the order because it is already being prepared. They don't want the store to waste the food. Okay, I understand. And because of inconvenience, the chat agent gave me 60 pesos ($1.25).

That's understandable. Once they start to prepare a meal, they can't stop or take it back. Most restaurants also won't re-sell it. Hope it worked out for you in the end, though.

The agent was responsive and told me the reason of the delay. After making a follow up, the meal was delivered within 5 minutes.

I orrdered some food once that got lost in the shuffle. I ended up canceling the order.

We cannot even return food stuff if we find that it is not what we ordered.

You cannot cancel your order but is very easy for them to cancel your order. Had a very bad experience with that Panda on my very first order of Max chicken which I did at 10:30 and which was confirmed. At 11:15 Panda messaged me that my order was cancelked. I was so mad I cancelled my registration with them.

I am not happy because we cannot cancel the order but eventually understood that it is a food business. I am sorry about your experience.

@jobelbojel It's difficult to cancel indeed when the food has been cooked and ready for delivery but it's not, then it would be fine to cancel.
