The Big Fight! Fight! Fight!

Vice President Kamala Harris: "We fight, fight, fight. Fight the fight."

This amusing "The Fight!" will make millions in the movie industry. Better than Netflix favorites on my list put together. Here's the origin of the premise: The Dems say that the former President Trump incited violence and insurrection with his, 'You have to get your people to fight. And if they don't fight...' CUT... CUT... and lots of cuts video Dems say that he said, "You have to get your people to fight." Of course, he meant, to demand action from the members of the Congress and support primary challenges to those who don't do what he considered to be right. Support primary challenges. NOT violent action. Okay. We know what he meant. Do some of you know what he meant? Because, as what many of you, curious minds, have done, I watched the FULL video of the former President on January 6 BEFORE the Capitol riot. So, Impeachment House Managers, eat your hearts out on what you did to manipulate the former President's words. Tell me that I'm a conspiracy theorist all you want. Gaslight me all you like. Cancel me and the others. But, as fellow smart human beings, I wish you'd come up with a really good and factual reason why I have offended you so badly. I wish you all a very good and peace-making day! Photos: Screenshots of these Dems mouthing, "Fight, fight, fight the fight."
During the impeachment hearing of former President Donald Trump Friday, attorney David Schoen played a montage of many democrat politicians using the word "f...

I think you might have a lot of may says here but I agree with you wholeheartedly as so some others that are willing to speak their minds in this is similar issues. Rather than suggesting which is time consuming I'll just mention them. I hope they don't mind. @nameless and @porwest come to mind.

Don't mind at all your mentioning. I just took a break for about a week. I read @porwest response as well and think he might be wrong on one point. They, the bad players on both sides, are not ignorant but they certainly believe we are. They even tell us and spell out their plans believing we are too dumb to understand. Good news for them is that half don't care and half the rest are too dumb to understand their true measure. That leaves the rest of us fighting FOR America.

You hit the nail on the head. I mean, what they tried to make into an incitement was really just a very long stretch to get there. The word "fight," as you eloquently stated can mean violence, but it can also mean "to argue in favor of," or "to show support of." When a lawyer fights your case, he isn't in the courtroom slapping people around. When strikers fight for higher wages and better benefits, they aren't storming the executive offices tearing the place up and threatening to kill people. The sad part is that those who are making this inference are intelligent people who should be able to determine the context of the speech they are pointing to. It's because they badly want the meaning to fit their desired context and, of course they have a desired outcome that will stem from shaping the context to their needs. The only good that came out of this, perhaps, is that in the end Trump was acquitted. But I have made note of those 7 republicans who voted in favor of convicting him, and I would not be surprised if their careers are over. Especially on the right, we are just tired of what has become the greatest coup this country has ever seen. And we'll FIGHT it.

@everwonderwhy Time for the republican party to simply regroup. We had and HAVE the right message. We have the right policy. We have the successes—despite the left and the media's denial of them. But I think our biggest issue was how we messaged, and I feel okay laying that blame on Trump. It's my biggest criticism of him. The manner of messaging. The one thing we also need to acknowledge is that as a party, in four years Trump managed to redefine the party a bit. It's a different party. It's a more 'populist' party, and we have to keep that in mind whoever we send the podium in 2024 as much as anything. If there is denial of Trump in 2024 I don't think that will bode well for them. Trump loyalists are not going away anytime soon.
