Thank goodness!
I was cold today as the heating here was not working (it's ok again now) and sitting at the computer was not the ideal activity to keep warm.
I made a coffee but that was not enough
So I decided to go to Youtube and put the music on while I was typing - and that did the trick!
I have a playlist of all my favorites and they are now playing one after the other - and I have already removed one of the sweaters I was wearing
Oh and the neighbours?
Well the music is loud but as they can't hear it they will not complain!
Do you listen tio music while you are here on myLot?
Do you have deaf neighbours too?
Here is what is on right now

@mysdianait I never liked LOUD even when I was young and my husband is very sensible to noises due to his migraines.

I've had neighbors who were "deaf"... or so you'd think by the volume level of their stereos. (That's what I thought this post was about.)
I have the radio on all day, but at a reasonable level.

Sorry I confused you (but I can't promise that it won't happen again )
They wouldn't be thinking that I am deaf because they wouldn't have heard it
Some music just has to be loud ir i doesn't do anything to me at all. - and I needed to get warm.
Do you listen to any particular kind of musric?

@BarBaraPrz Same here. As long as it is not opera I'm fine with almost everything.

Do you listen to music while you are here on myLot? Sometimes when I'm in the mood.
Do you have deaf neighbors too? Yeah, tone deaf neighbors that can't carry a tune to save their lives!

@allen0187 Oh no I didn't mean that at all. It's just, even if many Italian people speak English, they have a very scholastic level and don't say things that people who use English often would say

I usually had the television news on too but it's all about politics (we have a new government) and the virus whcih is getting worse again here. So I needed music today to cheer me up
Do you know your neighbours well?

@mysdianait What can be seen on TV are all kinds of disasters.
Do you know your neighbors well? I rarely chat with them.

As much as I love my music, I actually don't put it on during myLot. I get too distracted because I want to sing or dance . . . hard to do that and myLot at the same time .
My neighbors are the ones that are too loud . . . at times I wish I were deaf .

@much2say All of that makes sense
but some typos were terrible and I would have been very surprised if anyone could have deciphered them enough to be able to comment

@mysdianait You were typing to the beat of the music . . . your keyboard was your instrument . Even musicians can make mistakes every now and then .

I usually had the news on the television because my speakers on the computer didn't work. Now they are fixed so I can listen to music again!

My neighbours are not deaf. I am not deaf as well. Sometimes a neighbour (not sure which) would play a slow music but enough for me to hear it late at night.
Maybe that person should know I am not deaf. But I don't know which neighbour to tell.

Oh I wouldn't have it on loud at night. Nor the television. That would not be right at all.

I have a deaf neighbor I didn’t know was deaf at first. So he bought something at my store and I was asking him questions but he just ignored me. I was mad and told my husband about it and he told me that he couldn’t have heard me because he’s deaf

It must be sad for people who are deaf when they can't have a conversation with others because they can't hear what is being said. I presume he didn't even realise that you were talking to him.

I thought you had snow there now so that is early for an owl indeed.
So you have no problems if you want to put the music on loud in that case?

I tend to listen to music from my younger days and I'm not up to date with new stuff. A lot of it sounds like noise to me and not music
I'm not familiar with the artist you mention. I will check them out
