Am about to prepare chapati for supper. My family likes this meal so much.
It can be eaten with a variety of stews such as vegetables, chicken, beef, pork, lamb. Whatever your liking and preferences.
It can be taken at breakfast, lunch or supper. Some also use it as a snack!

@Laurakemunto Yes, it is called roti or phulka. The ones in your picture looks thick and it looks more like stuffed paratha of ours or kerela paratha that has layers. Our roti/phulka is quite thin.
Do you make it from wheat flour?

@arunima25 yes its made from wheat flour. I tasted roti a long time ago I had an Indian friend.

@thelme55 I too but these are called chapatis these are cooked differently from pancakes.

@aureategloom this one you make a dough which firm enough to be rolled out without sticking on the rolling board or rolling stick.
For pancakes, the dough is made with a flowing consistency, when cooking its poured onto a cooking pan and are light in weight also.
