Wandavision ... So, What's This Supposed to Be?

I got Disney+, and found Wandavision. I watched the first episode of it, and ... I don't get it.
I mean, I know that it's basically the story of Wanda "Scarlet Witch" Maximoff & Vision (the android she fell in love with) trying to live as a married couple in the suburbs.
But ... how does it fit in with The Avengers' adventures? https://youtu.be/tHHFspVWuUk

We have been watching it too . . . we had no idea where this was going as we aren't really familiar with Wanda and Vision. All we know is there has been "nostalgia" with flavors of old tv shows with each short episode. As you keep watching, it does get more mysterious . . . but I won't spoil it . . . you just have to keep on watching. Maybe certain things will be answered for you as you seem to know more about it than we do.

You're right. I suspected there'd be something weird going on (as 'the person who's doing it all' doesn't even know that THEY are doing it ... for the first three-or-four episodes---and I suspect they don't know HOW they're doing it yet, just that it's 'their responsibility' ... or something ...)
Connected to Wandavision, Disney+ also streams a series of shorts called "LEGENDS"---sort of refreshers on why main characters are important (so far there's just one for Wanda and one for Vision.)
