The hardest part is getting traffic. If only an original idea will pop in my mind or a niche that will have readers. But I am thinking, even if I fail the experience will be useful to me. Who knows I might learn to code or do graphic design just because I have a blog.I will get better at writing as well as English in the process. I wonder if I will meet fellow bloggers as well. That for sure will be fun. Let's see where this journey will take me. Im conditioning my mind to be in it for the long haul.

That's the nature of blogging. Getting traffic is damn hard. Even if you are good at it, it's hard. The problem is not the content, or even the quality of the content. It's the competition that is out there, and it is the ability of the bigger players to be front and center and leave your blogs on page 10 of the search engines.

@yoalldudes Even if you have a niche, it can still be difficult to capture and audience. Or at least that is what I have found. Doesn't mean you necessarily stop trying though.

I have a longer time horizon when looking at it. Unlike before.

To be a blogger, you really should have something you WANT to write about all day and every day - a consuming passion, in other words. If you want 'traffic' - i.e. readers - (and to make money out of it), then it should be something which other people want to read and follow regularly. However, that should never be your first objective. Your primary 'drive' should be that you have confidence in yourself to write entertainingly about a subject you know well and are passionate about. It is very rarely any use beginning by saying "I want to make money blogging. What should I write about that's likely to be popular?" You are quite unlikely to meet fellow bloggers - blogging can be a lonely experience if that's what you are looking for unless you join a blogging forum on your chosen niche or use social media. Even then, don't expect other bloggers to be enthusiastic about your blog!

The problem with being a blogger. Even though you're the original, when someone copied you. They'll get more popular than the original.

@yoalldudes Yup, we're not gonna do that. However some people does because of the popularity and earnings that they might get from doing it.

I'm also trying to get people to my blog. You can try trafficg.com and people will visit your blog and you can visit their blog. Also, a Facebook group
