Just had to share it is snowing here

We have not had snow in a long time and it is snowing now in Jerusalem. It was very very cold when I went out to throw out the garbage early this morning and they predicted snow but you cannot always believe the weather people here. They do not always get it right, but, this time they did. We will see how long it last and if will stick.
Just wanted to share that with you because we do not always get snow in Jerusalem.

I am not a winter person and only when I had my dog I enjoyed watching her play in the snow. I wish it were gone.

@Hannihar I hope it will get warm enough to melt for you soon then. We stay inside when it snows here (but I do go out to make snow cream), but I love seeing it snow.

I am not fond of snow. I guess it is from my growing up in Minneapolis in very hard winter conditions. The only time it did not bother me is when I had my dog.

I am not very fond of winter or snow. I grew up in Minneapolis and we had blizzardy weather and lots of snow and cold and ice. Here they are not equipped to deal with the snow so take forever to clean it up. It has been a number of years since we got snow here.

Someone wrote that they do not get much snow in Texas and they also got it. Maybe the weather is very different this year so lots are getting snow that normally do not get it.

Wow were you surprised that it actually snowed? We're used to getting snow here but this year it's been above and beyond most of what we get. Tomorrow we're due for more so we probably won't see the ground until the spring.

Yes, I was very surprised. It has been quite some time that we got snow here. I read that we will be waking up to snow.

Are you glad for the snow? It helps the lakes and farmers here even though the rest of us would rather not see it.

We get rain here and there. Last year I thought we got a lot of rain and I read that we did not so hard to tell. We have had a winter that had sunshine a lot and then now it is getting cold and still can be nice too. Very strange weather.

Marsha, no problem at all. Actually I prefer the rain over the snow. The snow is too messy and takes them forever to clean it up. We pray for rain to come here in winter.

The last time I looked out it was still snowing so do not know how much. We have gotten snow before in Jerusalem. We have not gotten it in quite some time. I guess it was really cold out today that it snowed. I guess I will just wait and see. Most of the time the weather people are not right in predicting the weather so we will see what tomorrow will be like.

It does not snow everywhere here but in Jerusalem it can if cold enough. Apparently it was time to get snow again. It has been a long time that we did not get snow in winter.
