Milan

One of the loveliest cities that I have visited is Milan, Italy. It doesn't look like an Italian city at all in the city's center because it was ruled by the Hapsburgs from Austria for some time and it has that influence.

@sallypup I was born in Milan and I had my first Communion inside the Duomo. It is an impressive monument, but I still consider the Rome Cathedral superior.

I am glad you liked my city, that I never found really pretty. Venice was also part of the Austrian Hungarian Empire as the same times as Milan. We were part of the Austrian Hungarian Empire and before that we were ruled by French and before that by Spanish. If you go south you will find a Moresque architecture, because they were ruled by Arabs.
