bad cook

Grilled fish for lunch, doesn't look good because I'm not a chef, I don't know how to flip grilled fish well, it's not easy for me coz fish always broken when I try to flip fish, but today I did without make fish broken, how proud I am.
Are any of you the same as me? Or do you have any tips to help me?

If it is a whole fish I usually bake it in the oven. Don't need to turn it. But if frying in a skillet or pan gotta make sure there is enough oil in it. Hard for it not to fall apart when you remove it if it is stuck to the skillet. But if it didn't get stuck a big spatula should be ok.

I have an oven at home, but I don't know how to use it, so I just use the pan and apply a little oil, I don't understand much about how to use kitchen utensils.

Heat the pan first before adding the cooking oil, then pour the oil and see to it that it is already too hot when you add the fish one at a time. Turn off the heat to cool down a little the oil when you flip. The more it will help if you coat the fish with a batter of flour and egg mixture.
