Bratwurst For Dinner Tonight

It is Saturday, and I was sitting here thinking about what I might want to have for dinner tonight.
I decided on bratwurst.
I have a three pound party pack that's been in the freezer a while and I should probably just cook them up. I bought them just before winter and while I will not be grilling them, they will still be good.
So, I think it will be some baked beans, pan fried bratwurst, and some boxed mac and cheese.
Besides, I have some heavy whipping cream leftover from my clam chowder that I need to use up, and that should make for a very creamy batch of mac and cheese.
As for the bratwurst, to be fair, I will probably divide the package in half. That will be probably 10 sausages each, and I will have some left for a later date.
What's going on your dinner table tonight?

Probably pork chops, with mashed patatos and something green. Unless my husband decides he'd rather eat out of the freezer tonight.

@kaylachan I can't tell you the last time I ate Hamburger Helper. I usually make it from scratch.

They sure look yummy in that photo. For dinner I cooked meatloaf, corn, last of the broccoli casserole, loaded mashed potatoes, and fried corn bread.

@1creekgirl Good you can find a buffet. Most have gone under since people seem to be opposed to them now. Buffets, I fear, may never be the same. Which is a shame, because I really enjoyed them.

I'm working a short shift so I don't have to take a meal. I've not eaten yet maybe I'll have leftovers from the other day for a last lunch.
I made keto fathead crust which turned out okay but the casserole was too wet making the crust mushy. Such a waste. I had two chicken thighs and carrots and riced cauliflower which I mixed with cream of cuz soup. I liked it but would do it different if ever I made it again.
Pic is the fathead crust, the casserole and then what was in my plate.
I forgot to mention that I'm an oddball in that I don't like brats much. Yours lol interesting though. Unless that's a generic pic?

You can still grill them if you have a grill pan. Do you have one?
Seems like you had a big pack of those bratwursts there. Dividing them is a good idea.
We went out Saturday. Glad that indoor dining is back here. I missed it.

@porwest I have a round one with a lid. Staub brand. I love it but it’s very expensive. Thankfully, It was gifted to me. I’d never buy it myself.

@lovebuglena Maybe the next time I am out and about I will have a look and see if I can find something similar. Mine was just a flat jobber.

Turkey/chicken sausages in buns. Garden green beans from the freezer. Hubby will have asparagus. We were going to have a fire after skiing, so we stopped and bought the great local, fresh buns. But we had the fire too early and didn't roast the sausages. Now I don't really want that supper, but we bought the buns. So, hot dogs, it is.
