Covid?
My MIL and SIL are both sick. It is two weeks now running three. I remember my FIL having cough and asthma like attacks the last time I saw them (February 6). Monday, he started taking antibiotic. Then my MIL and SIL started having asthma like symptoms (they both have asthma). Second or third day, they have slight fever (not more than 38C), itchy throat and headache. Two days past, no more slight fever just the itchy throat and body aches. They do take medications as per symptoms that exist.
My MIL just revealed this morning via text that she lost her sense of taste and smell but are now back. However my SIL I think has vertigo the past days. They never went for the covid test. My SIL did online consult and just prescribed Ibuprofen.
Why am I thinking it is covid?
My eldest sister tested positive with just headache, itchy throat and dry cough.
But of course, we will never know since they have no intention of getting tested. ANd me, I do not have intention of seeing them soon and allowing them to be here in my house. The last time we all saw each other was February 6.
Morning/afternoon/evening to all!

Whatever it is I hope they both are over it soon. You are doing the right thing by not having them in your home especially if you and they don’t know if it covid or not.

@DianneN I hope for the best in them. As long as they do not go here, I am fine with it. I discuss to them getting tested yesterday and they said that they already quarantine themselves for 2 weeks and they probably feel better now, so they said it will be useless

I think the best choice is to go to the hospital for testing

They should get tested. That way they would know not to go anywhere so as not to give the infection to others. It is irresponsible of them not to get tested.

@brokenbee no one will ever know if it is covid or not unless they are tested

@rakski Let us just hope it is not covid. It is also hard to go to the hospital right now because they might get infected there.

They should have immediately reported their condition to your local health department. It's for their own good and the people around them.
