Are you allowed to use your phone inside the bank?

They do not allow you to answer or making phone calls here but we can still use our phone other than that.

I have no idea, no one take out their phone while inside the bank, it's not really good manners.

I wasn't aware phones aren't supposed to be used in a bank. (I just checked and yes, banks in the US prohibit the use of phones inside.) I just go in, do my transactions and leave. I don't have time to pull my phone out to do anything with it before I'm done and leaving.

I think banks would prefer we don't for security reasons. Many phones (especially smartphones) have cameras on them. However, I've never come across an issue when it comes to using my phone. I've played games or other things while waiting to speak to someone. I don't make phone calls and usually remember to put the rinnger on silent or vibrate. But, then again, my husband is the only one who calls me with any reguarality.

In China, mobile phones can be used in banks. But you can't talk loudly to influence others.

I don't use my phone in the bank but I don't normally have to wait that long to be waited on. I don't know if there are rules against it or not, haven't ever seen anything posted about it.

I think there was a BSP circular prohibiting the use of mobile phones inside banks. In your bank, I think the guards have been very lax in implementing the circular.
