The last song for songs with boy names in the title I saved for a really bad boy. The song is "Bad Bad Leroy Brown" by Jim Croce. The song was written by American folk singer Jim Croce and was part of his 1973 album Life and Times. It became a number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and stayed at the top for two weeks. This was Croce's last number-one single before he died in September of 1973.
Bad Bad Leroy Brown straight off of the Photographs & Memories album.

We should have had a wrestling match between Leroy Brown and the Jim of "You Don't Mess Around With Jim" fame. Love this song!

Great singer songwriter. "Time In A Bottle, Photographs and Memories and Operator were such relatable songs. Leroy Brown was his only # 1 tune. Killed at the height of his popularity, tragic

This song was played on the radio a lot when I was a kid. I used to sing this song at the top of my lungs because my Mom said it was ok to sing the swear word "damn" as it is part of the lyrics.
