Three US telecom giants spend $78 billion to buy a new batch of 5g spectrum

The Federal Communications Commission of the United States recently said that the three major U.S. telecom giants have won $78 billion worth of spectrum use licenses in a new round of 5g spectrum auction. Among the three major telecom operators in the United States, Verizon communications has invested US $45.4 billion and won 3511 frequency licenses, while at & T, an old telecom giant, has invested US $23.4 billion and won 1621 licenses.
