Do Response Numbers Overwhelm You?

As I make discussions in Mylot, I noticed my numbers go up in the responses I get for those. They make me feel overwhelmed at times if they build up too much, waiting for my attention to them. It can make me feel overwhelmed also, I guess because that is part of my anxiety issue too

I check my notifications often so they do not build up. However, when I wake up in the morning I usually have quite a few to go through. It doesn't make me feel overwhelmed though, I get excited!

I wish I could let the excitement win over the overwhelming feeling. I have too much I try to do daily though so the numbers just add to the pile lol.

@stephcjh I don't have a lot of things to do during the day, so I am able to check often.

@AngelisaQT That is understandable.

I see you put a lot of discussions up one after the other. If you spaced them out they might be easier to deal with.

I don't do that all of the time. Just did some like that today because things were a slow start. That jump started things.

I tackle them one by one. Also I clear notifications each time I am online. Less likely I'll be overwhelm as well.

i love it when there are lots of responses to my discussions~ it means it is interesting and lots of people listen to me. Do you know some breathing techniques for your anxiety?

I check mine often but I work with other websites online at the same time doing other things so by the time I get back to Mylot, my notifications have built up on me sometimes. I haven't really tried a breathing technique. I get anxious but it has not affected my breathing, per say. It isn't out of control but I can feel anxious inside severely at times. Hard to explain. Mine isn't an outward emotion right now. If that makes sense.

@stephcjh I only have mylot so it does not pile up. A friend of mine has anxiety sometimes and it makes it hard to sleep. Breathing exercises aren't only needed when you're panicking though, it can help you calm down. Take care~

No. Not at all. At least not for me. I WANT people to respond, and I want LOTS of people to respond. That's why I write them. lol

@porwest Yeah. I work with multiple websites and it earns me a decent income so I call it work on my end with everything I do daily. I just come here to take a break from the other online work. Can't make a living here. That is for sure!!!

@stephcjh I guess for me I do not consider my 'online work' to be work. I make most of my money doing other things. So this is just a fun pastime that happens to make me a little extra.
