I save up to buy all kinds of things all of the time. Nothing in particular or special for the most part but it is mainly things we want or need. Are you saving up for anything special?

Yes, I am saving for a new car. Though I am trying to extend the life of my current vehicle but I know I somehow, I would be needing to buy a new one specially if the repair and maintenance would cost more.

Right. We just bought a newer year truck. Our old truck kept being in need so we sold it and got something else. Was tired of putting money into the other after some time. It was a good truck though.

I am not. But for me there is always plenty of money in the bank. But I think it is a good idea to save for something if one does not have the money. More importantly, I think before people save for things, they should be saving to have at least six months worth of salary in the bank in order to be prepared for job losses or other emergencies. THEN save for things.

I have been working hard doing some extra hours at work to save money. I would like to get a PS5 but I think it will go on bills. My partner isn’t currently working so we need the extra money.

I know what you mean. I try to work from home and help my husband pay the bills since he works outside of the home for us. I can't because of my health issues now. I work from home and save up for things we want and need and I also help pay the bills too. Sometimes things happen though and the money goes elsewhere. We work long hours too and try to make it all happen. So glad to be able to earn from home so I can do my part and make the extra money. I hope you get you PS5 soon though. Keep working hard and it will happen.

@sh2ker You're welcome. You got that right. Bills are my top priority always and whatever may be left after that, goes to other things, like wants and needs.
