KFC Just Has Good Cole Slaw

When it comes to fried chicken I am not in any way saying Kentucky Fried Chicken's chicken sucks.
It doesn't.
But these days KFC's chicken comes in in third place for me. #1 is Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken. #2 is Popeye's. And #3 is Kentucky Fried Chicken.
But KFC does come out on top in the #1 position when it comes to their cole slaw. None of the other chain's cole slaw even comes close. There is just something about KFC cole slaw that beats anyone else's, including anything bought in the store.
And last night I went through the drive through at KFC and bought ONLY three large cole slaws. We ate with our chicken cordon WTF, and it was worth it and delicious.
What's your favorite cole slaw?

@porwest How come you don't buy fresh cabbage and do it yourself?

@porwest I had no idea there is dressing specifically for coleslaw.

I have actually made one that is close, using Marzetti's, the ONLY cole slaw dressing I will use. Granted, I buy precut, bagged cole slaw and slap that dressing in it. But it is fantastically good. I would even say maybe better than KFC's, but my wife would most certainly disagree.

I would have to say my own.
Or KFCs or Long John Silvers ..not sure if there are any of those left here.

I really don't like KFC, but I make pretty good slaw. I use the pre-chopped cabbage and add mayo, vinegar, mustard, salt, pepper, and sugar.

@porwest What in the world is Marzetti's Yummy? I use precut cabbage, too, then put it in my chopper to make it even finer.
Slaw is the only thing I might eat at KFC.

@1creekgirl No. Marzetti's. Yummy. The period is essential here. It's Marzetti's brand cole slaw dressing. It's really good.

Not a fan of it, actually. So I obviously don't have a favorite. I am more of a chicken girl and love pop pyes chicken. Grew up on it.

@porwest I think I had KFC once but it was in some rest area. Don't even remember what state that was in. Can't say I was thrilled with their chicken or slaw. Maybe it depends on the location.

@lovebuglena Popeye's used to be my favorite until I discovered Lee's. Now it's my second favorite with KFC still being 3rd.

The cole slaw I like comes from Popeye's Fried Chicken.

I think KFC puts sugar in their coleslaw which makes it a little sweet. I also like Red Lobster's coleslaw.
