I Am A Pizza Crap

When it comes to homemade pizza, I never make my own crust. I have tried that before and it is a pain in the ass and not worth the time. There are just too many options out there that are suitable like Boboli, or off brand pizza crusts.
So, that is what I do. In this instance I have two Kroger crusts for my homemade pizza.
Tomorrow night for supper we will make homemade pizza. I have fresh mushrooms, onions, green and red peppers, and sausage. This should suffice.
NORMALLY I make my own homemade pizza sauce. But I have become lazy on that too, and I bought a pre-made sauce.
It should be good. But what have I come to? Granted, the jar of Kroger pizza sauce was only 88 cents. I am such a cheapskate. But I flipped on this one.
The sauce should be fine, the pizza should be good. But what a piece of crap I am for going against every fiber in my cheap body and cheating.

I buy garlic toast and build my pizza toppings on that.

@porwest Yep. Or you can buy the long Italian bread from the bakery section of a store. Cut it in half both ways. You then have the start of 2 pizza subs or 4 French bread pizzas. Just add toppings.

Ahh that's where the crap comes in. Don't forget the cheese on your pizza. Do you she's your own? Something had to be bought from the store might as well save some time when you can.
I tried making my own crust some years back and it was awful. I now but the whole pizza unless I'm making one of my keto pizzas.

@porwest I usually spend 2-3 hours here every day. It's almost like a job except that I get to talk to my friends here.

@LindaOHio On average I probably wind up spending about the same amount of time here. An hour or two in the morning, and sometimes I sneak in a little at work (my job is not THAT demanding), and certainly the bulk of my time is spend on the weekends.
That will wane a bit more during the summer though when I will have more things to do outside.

Nothing wrong with shortcuts. Sometimes I will but pizza dough from a pizza place when I don't want to buy some in the store.

It's sound so nice. I hope you'll enjoy your pizza! Anyway I love pizza too, and since I love mushrooms, I really love pizza with mushrooms on it.
