Happy Sunday everyone 
Its a rainy day here but at least its not cold enough for it to freeze. If it was we'd have a huge skating rink
My oldest daughter is coming over for lunch and to visit. I've seen her recently but it was quick so I'm looking forward to a more lengthy visit.
Its rare that we have a Sunday together unless its the whole family but my granddaughter has to work and my son in law and grandson have something to do at the firehouse (my son jn law us a volunteer firefighter and my grandson is a junior firefighter)
Thats my plans for today

We had firefighters (volunteer) in my family too at one time.
I'm just here on mylot and watching youtube videos too. At some point I will crochet. I'm making a list for the grocery store too.

I did my grocery shopping last week so that's one thing I don't have to worry about this week. We've been buying enough to last 2 weeks.

@Marilynda1225 Not really fast reader user depends on how long the chapters are in the book. The last ones I read have been box sets and chapters were short.

That is nice that you will have a little longer visit with your oldest daughter.
Tomorrow our region goes from the red zone to orange, which means that dine in places can have up to 25 people.
That isn't alot given the number of staff has to be included in that number, but it is moving in the right direction.
We will stay home and keep to ourselves a little longer until we go to yellow, maybe by then the weather will allow for outdoor visits with our family.
Today is going to be a quiet day around here, there is a cold rain drizzle outside now.

@Marilynda1225 Its been over a year since we've seen my hubby's family, I worry about a sister-in-law, who has terminal cancer. I wonder if I will ever see her again in this earthly world.
But it is not a time to be selfish, I need to leave them and hope that they get vaccinated soon, and once we are we will see her, otherwise we will have to hold tight to our memories.
He has an older brother whom we both love dearly. He had a series of strokes a number of years ago, and we nearly lost him, I miss him. But, when things gradually open back up again, we will see each other, and then this time will be a memory only.

I'm anxiously awaiting for things to improve so I can have the family visits and see the grandchildren. I really feel lost not seeing them but I know we're all doing our best to stay safe and healthy.

Weather is the same here so just making soup in the instant pot. Sundays tend to be boring here even when the weather is good.
