I can't get rid of my Eczema

I have tried just about everything I know of on my own to get rid of my Eczema on my hands and feet. I know stress and tomatoes break me out the most. There are new rx medications out there for it now but I have not seen a doctor about it yet. I prefer a pill versus an injection too. I stopped eating tomatoes to see if that would clear me up but I have fresh Eczema on my hands today anyway. I wonder what is best for Eczema?

Better to see a dermatologist because they can tell you what's causing it and they can prescribe appropriate medications.

My eczema gets worse when I eat food that contains a lot of nickel (nuts, almonds, chocolate etc) If you haven't done it already you could experiment with the food you eat. Avoid some kinds of food for a while and see what happens. Your eczema might be related to other kinds of food than mine, but is it possible that tomatoes aren't the only type of food that cause problems.

Right. for now, I have cut out tomatoes and anything acidic like oranges and orange juice. It seems to be a little better but still need to experiment more.

Why don't you try sulfur soap and I think there is an ointment for that. What is in tomatoes that cause eczema is it lycopene?

I have read that it is the acid in tomatoes that can cause a flare up. Possibly lycopene as you mention as well. Not sure if the soap would help as it comes from within. Ointments do nothing for me. I tried those. I need to prevent it from coming on.
