Do you hang on to clothes that no longer fit?

It all depends on what it is and what kind of condition it is in for me.
I have some brand new clothes that have never been worn. I grew out of them some years ago.
I really like them though and do not want to part with them in hopes to wear them some day.

I tend to wear out my clothes pretty easily. I typically get several years out of most things.

i have a lot of hand-me-downs that i haven't worn yet.
this year, i've started washing and trying them on. a lot don't actually fit!
i've sent some to a friend and her family.
another batch was sent to a relative to try selling them.

I usually pile them inside my closet until it becomes bulky and can no longer close. I decided to put them to another bag until I will give them to people who wanted them.

It depends... I had some clothes I loved, but when they started falling off I had to donate them to charity. I don't intend gaining weight again. On the other hand I had a summer dress I loved which I have had for 20 years. I got too big for it and wasn't able to wear it for a long time and almost gave it to my daughter, but last summer I found I could fit into it again which was great!
