Hot drinks can kill the Covid-19 virus?

Some people suggest that we get used to drinking hot drinks such as hot coffee or hot tea every day. The goal is that the Covid-19 virus in our mouths can die. This virus is reportedly not heat resistant. Because if the Covid-19 virus can survive in the mouth for more than 3 days, then it will descend into the cavities in our vital organs such as the lungs or the heart. And after that it will be very difficult to treat. What do you think?

Sounds like a theroy not backed by science. Viruses like dark warm places to breed and grow. I wouldn't recommend forcing yourself to drink something hot, because you're more likely to burn your mouth instead.

@Babale Doesn't mean it's going to kill any viruses that might hang out in your mouth and keep you from getting sick. Whowever came up with that clearly doesn't understand science.

Hot drinks might help relieve some soreness...but I think this theory was debunked by experts months ago.

According to the news, the Covid-19 virus is actually quite weak compared to other types of viruses. Easy to kill with soapy water and can not stand hot temperatures. But it all depends on individual beliefs, this is only a form of prevention other than wearing a mask.

Does that mean the virus likes warm places? Thank you.
