Late Again

Late getting on myLot for the second day in a row. Took a drive to our accountant with hubs this morning. Hubs, being more vaccinated than I, ran in to drop off our tax information quickly, and quickly ran back to the car. Next week our tax papers should be ready for signing and sending in. We went through a drive-thru and ordered coffee, then took a nice drive along the seashore. Too cold and breezy to walk there, but did enjoy the sunshine glistening on the waves. I’m curious to see if we owe the government or if the government owes us.

We had a $170 refund for the year 2019 that made me laugh, but at least they did not ask more.

@DianneN I am glad when they ask no more money, it is the first time in 20 years that I receive a refund.

I don't know about you but the government owes us. Mainly because I have a lot extra taken out of my pay so I won't owe at the end of the year. It's been close a few times before. I did that today to and signed the papers right away. I forgot to ask when the expected date of arrival is but we'll be saving what we get anyway.

@DianneN we don't make enough to itemize but our business had a loss last year so that helped a lot too.

@DianneN The retirements take the taxes out before they deposit it into our accounts except for the roth which took it out when we were working.
