why do you think women spend so much time in makeup?

the same reason dogs keep lickin themselves....NO REASON

I think that we look good with and without makeup. We just apply make-up to enhance our beauty. It makes us look more polished if you don't overdo it.

i am not really sure, may be they just cant get over the fact that, they dont look good,

Well I don't blame on women who try their best to be look good but I don't really put too much makeup on me.It is simple-I don't think it is good for your skin to put a lot of makeup.No matter how much you hear from makeup brand that"It is natural!" it doesn't really count for me. I put makeup just a bit and finish real quick ;)

i guess it is all becuz of men, if men didnt as anygirl to look better they wouldnt need to do it. like think girls are in island with no boys, im sure they wouldnt use makeup. also maybe they think they are not good looking enough to attract men. but let's face it med do nothing to make them look better and still can be liked by girls. it wonders me why. personally i stopped using make up when my beloved said that i am most beutiful girl in the world. it made mw so happy.

Some women DO spend too much time on it! I take about 5-10 minutes, but my sister will take 30 min. I like ot put on make up so my face does not look so plain.

I think the do not spend to much time with make up. The problem is we do not have the patience to wait that long.

some women really do take long in applying make up , , it's not that we don't think we look good enough , , but because we wanna feel more confident about ourselves, , we want to be more presentable and to look good , , i take about 20-30 minutes to apply make-up, , during special ocassions , , but when i simply go to school or to the mall , , about 10 minutes is all the time that i will be needing, ,

i wear make-up so i dont look to plain. i like to wear eye-liner to make my eyes look bigger. i spend about 7 mins daily putting my make-up on, but if i am going out to clubs, i spend about 20 mins or so

Personally I put on a little bit of make up just to brighten my face and bring out my eyes. If you do it right it's just to enhance your natural beauty but if you put too much on you are trying to hard. Also some women just feel comfortable with make up. I know some of my friends won't leave the house without their make up on.

it takes a while because u want everything to look perfect. if it doesnt it will look like a hot mess.

i don't believe women spend too much time in make up... maybe some women put make up for the reason that they want to look better when they are facing to their colleagues and friends...but i don't spend too much time when putting of make up its enough when i have a powder and lipstick thats all because i want to stay simple :)

hey come yaar.all girls r not so.shall i tell u one thing some r very slow in doing anything so they take time .and they always try to look decent that boys r men so they check them in each and every view that they should look better

Applying make up and beauty rituals take some time realy, not that woman dont feel good about themselves but it is also part of hygine discipline, just like brushing your teeth every meal, or ones a day perhaps. Try not to brush for a day, how do you feel? It can still be possible, but i do not know if you wont take some time to do it, how you feel. Spending too much time like an hour is not too much to do your make up, there are some steps also to follow in putting make up on, its not just dumping colors to your face, basic is cleans, put toner, mosturize then foundation, eye makeup, lipstick then fix the hair, the more you do it the lesser time you'd spend.
